GIF Images
GIF Images are a low resolution format for graphics that has become a standard on the internet. These images are very small, but also are of a lower image and color quality. Used on both the Macintosh and PC. Easily opened and used by image manipulation programs like Photoshop.

PICT & BMP Images
Pict Images are best used for presentation graphics like those produced with Microsoft Powerpoint. Macintosh and PC versions are available.

EPS Images
EPS Images are most frequently used by graphic professionals looking for high quality and high resolution reproduction of the images. These images are used in Applications like Quark XPress, Adobe PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator and Macromedia Freehand. Can be used on both the Macintosh and PC. These images ARE NOT appropriate for presentation use such as Powerpoint or Harvard Graphics.
